We’re funded! THANK YOU!

Wow. It’s been a few days since our Kickstarter for Aliens & Asteroids ended and I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that a) we were successful and b) we have more than 140 folks looking forward to getting our book in their hands (digitally or physically).

Thank-you-pinned-note-2400pxAll I can say is… Thank you!

We have a lot of work to do to take our draft to a final state, but we’re well on our way. This week we will figure out our plan of attack and let everybody know how the next few steps will go.

But that doesn’t mean we’ve been sitting idle.

This weekend I had the opportunity to attend Aethercon VI online and not only run a game for a couple of backers (thank you Pierre & Rick!), but chat with Allison Edrington (Gamebreakers Media).

My Q&A with Allison was a lot of fun and you can watch it here.

The game I ran, titled “Rescue from Eunomia” was a lot of fun with Pierre & Rick as well. The mining colony on the asteroid Eunomia went dark suddenly and they (with two of their space marine NPC buddies) had to go into harm’s way to figure out what was going on. I’m happy to say they did a fantastic job. 🙂

It’s definitely one of the adventures we’ll work on packaging up after the main book is done, along with the rest of the fun adventures we’ve been running through with our playtest crew at Petrie’s Family Games here in Colorado Springs.

I actually had a great chat with my playtest crew this past week. We’re taking a couple of weeks off, but will get back to exploring the galaxy further with our great group. They had quite a few great observations and suggestions with where we should go next, so I’m excited to continue the journey with them.

Ultimately for the project we have a lot written and will start getting things out to our backers soon. I’m excited to see what folks come up with to help fill this ever-expanding universe!!

Thank you all!
