Infinity Loop – October 2015

Ok, at least October just ended a week or so ago… Slowly catching up!

What did we get done?

the-asylum-dramascapeThrough the month of October, I got on a bit of a short fiction kick that bordered on solo roleplaying. The 31 Days of Halloween challenge I set for myself again this year was a ton of fun.

There were no new product releases in October, but I wrote more than 12,000 words about the Crunchy Ghosties crew who was exploring the creepy old Asylum map from DramaScape. Like all of the DramaScape products, this one does not disappoint and has plenty of details to inspire nightmares for your players. As I mentioned in my last post, the folks at DramaScape have been phenomenal and I encourage you to give them some love and check out their huge catalog at DriveThruRPG… It’s fantastic!

The complete story is undergoing revisions now and will be released as a fiction offering at DriveThruFiction as well as on the Kindle. DramaScape has also graciously agreed to participate in another bundle so keep an eye out for that. I have a pile of edits from my editor (my mother is a retired English teacher and has been proofreading legal depositions for the last few decades – she makes an excellent editor!) – I just have to sit down and figure out how to respond to them. 🙂

What’s coming up?

Obviously the short story is in the works, but you can check out the last post for the list of things in flight as well…

And of course AetherCon this week!

Web traffic

Web traffic remains split between the old blog ( and the updated website.

At the old blog:

  • Page views: 328
  • Unique visits: 270
  • First time visits: 238
  • Returning visits: 32

And at the new site:

  • Page views: 421
  • Unique visits: 338
  • First time visits: 316
  • Returning visits: 22

Overall, traffic is down again… From 840 page views in September to 749 in October.

Sales and Such

Between the Halloween sale at DriveThruRPG and some of the success of using Moebius products such as Brick by Brick: Doors and the Big Book of Little Spaces: Haunts, we actually did a bit better than in September.

We had 120 downloads, including a handful of sales at the Paizo store, which is fantastic!

Thank you!

As always, thank you for your support of Moebius Adventures games. My time writing is among my favorite time spent every day and I hope to do more of it going forward and get back on track!

Hope you had another great month of gaming!
