Infinity Loop: April 2014 Report

Welcome to the loop folks!

Though April wasn’t as action packed as March, we still had another phenomenal month here at Moebius Adventures. So again – thank you, thank you, thank you.

Second best month of traffic ever for the blog (plus the most returning visits EVER) plus great support for a new freebie product and product line!

We’ll start with the web traffic. In March, we were helped tremendously by Reddit. No Reddit love this month, but we had a great boost from StumbleUpon all month long, which helped a ton. And it seems that many of those folks are sticking around longer these days, which is awesome. With nearly 4,750 page views and 3400 unique visitors (nearly 900 of them returning visitors), we’re doing great thanks to everyone who has popped by for a visit. 🙂

Sales-wise, we slowed down quite a bit (no boost from the GM’s Day Sale in April), but still saw some solid numbers. (And by solid, I mean the most downloads in a single month since November 2007 and the third best month for sales ever!)

We released Insta-NPCs #0: A Simple Plan for free (just like One Spot #0) and have seen a big bump in downloads for that (more than 250) plus a good number of sales across the board (including 12 sales for Insta-NPCs #1: Motivation, Attitude, and Appearance, the follow-up to the freebie). And the Big Book of Little Spaces: Haunts released on the last day of the month, so we’ll hope that does well moving into May.

One note on product pricing… I have bumped up all the $1.99 products to $2 just to try and make pricing a bit more consistent below the $3 level. I know it’s minor, but there have been some studies done on pricing. Apparently anything under $2.99 should be rounded off, while anything $2.99 and above should follow the ninety-nines. So we’re giving that a go.

Overall, another exciting  month for Moebius. Hopefully you’re having as much fun as I am!

But I am still very excited to see where the rest of the year takes us. And again– thank you, thank you, thank you for all the support!

Please leave feedback on any products you may have picked up – good or bad – wherever you purchased it from. Let me know how you’re using the products and what you’d like to see more of (or less). I want to hear from you!

OH! One last thing… Keep an eye out for an announcement next week. 🙂
